Student Pass
An applicant who has been accepted by an approved educational institution to pursue full-time study in Singapore will need to apply for a Student Pass unless he/she has:
Part-time courses and courses conducted in the evening or on weekends are not eligible.
The requirements and procedures for a Student Pass differ slightly depending on the type of educational institution in which the applicant intends to study.
If the applicant wishes to transfer to another school after his or her application has been approved but has yet to collect the Student Pass, the applicant will need to submit a new application.
- An Immigration Exemption Order, or
- Been granted a Short-Term Visit Pass at a Singapore Checkpoint and wishes to attend a short course (a maximum of 30 days duration).
